Hello.

I'm Tracy Valleau, a fellow who always struggled against the uphill learning curve when trying to understand music. Somehow all those terms and techniques seemed overwhelming. Now, I'm not a musician (or at least I wasn't then :-) so I just simply looked at all those notes in the sheet music. Then I looked at all the chords that were written in the books. And I saw that only some chords are grouped together... and wondered why.

Then I looked at how each individual chord was made....and then it hit me!

There - right in front of my face - was the simple, basic rule!

I couldn't believe it was THAT simple! I rushed over and turned on my little Casio keyboard, and tried it out... and it worked! I was completely jazzed! I even called my wife in to see. She did it too. We were both grinning from ear to ear.

Excitedly, I called a friend of mine, who is a professional musician, and explained it to him, breathlessly waiting an excited explosion of joy from him too.
